Air Combat Command at Holloman AFB, New Mexico, is seeking a Regular Full Time Administrative Support role for the Aero Club. You will manage administrative records, correspondence, mail routing, and membership accounts to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate financial reporting.
The position requires flexibility to work beyond normal hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a 35-hour guaranteed work week and benefits package.
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Aero Club on Holloman AFB, New Mexico. Incumbent must be able to work other than normal duty hours which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. This is a Regular Full Time (RFT) position with benefits (medical, dental, life insurance, retirement, 401(k), and annual/sick leave).
The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support of the management, and operational requirements for the Aero Club. The primary duties of this position include but are not limited to: Gathers, compiles, monitors, and maintains records pertaining to the Aero Club administrative activities (paper and electronic). Prepares daily financial reports to include costs, sales, supply expenses and other financial information.
Orders, maintains and stocks various Aero Club resale merchandise. Receives, logs, and routes incoming mail, maintains necessary suspense controls. Types correspondence, reports, and other materials from rough draft, clean or corrected copy, including statistical and financial data. Composes correspondence from brief verbal or written instructions by the manager.
Proofreads and edits outgoing correspondence for correctness of format, spelling, grammar, addresses, enclosures, and attachments. Answers incoming telephone calls. Makes tentative appointments for manager and arranges club member safety meetings, as required. Responsible for maintaining all official administrative files in accordance with Air Force regulations and guidance. Administers club membership accounts to include registration, dues collection and record maintenance.
Assists manager with all audits. May Assist instructors with administrative support of FAA Part 141 Flight School and with Veterans Administration (VA) student records and finances. Provides assistance to customers with Aero Club Information and flight training requirements. Performs other related duties as assigned.

The posted pay range is $17.3 - $22.79/hr.
