Job summary

Air Force Materiel Command at Hanscom AFB seeks an Aero Club Manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the club, including training, maintenance coordination and records management.

The role requires coordinating with federal and local agencies to ensure safety and compliance, procuring aircraft and parts, and managing a profitable club with strong safety culture. Regular weekly review and part-time hours support a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Education substitution not allowed for this position.
• FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
• You must show evidence the education credentials are equivalent to U.S. education.

Responsibilities

• Solely responsible for the safe, economic and efficient operation of the Aero Club, Hanscom's flying club.
• Provides a proactive safety program through FAA Aviation Safety Counseling and Training.
• Coordinates with FAA, NTSB, EPA, VA, TSA and other agencies on safety, operations, maintenance and training.
• Procures aircraft, engines, avionics and parts to meet membership and mission needs.
• Maintains records for membership, operations, maintenance and administration.
