Job summary

Lyra Technology Group is building the operations backbone for one of its portfolio companies. The Director of Operations will standardize processes, own documentation, and drive automation and change management in a dynamic MSP/IT services context.

The role reports to the CEO, blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution, and focuses on scalable governance, service-delivery metrics, and vendor lifecycle management from Portsmouth, NH in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations, service delivery, or PMO leadership.
• Experience building operational infrastructure, not just maintaining it.
• Familiarity with MSP tooling (ConnectWise PSA, Datto RMM) and service-delivery metrics.
• Comfortable in a small-company environment with strategic and execution responsibilities.
• Strong documentation discipline and measurable improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own internal SOPs and policy documentation across the organization.
• Lead automation and AI/workflow initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Manage vendor lifecycle, contracts, MSAs, and renewal tracking.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards with KPIs and metrics.
• Collaborate with CEO on capacity planning and continuous-improvement programs.
