Job summary

Lyra Health, Inc. is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and developer tooling.

The role focuses on modernizing platform tooling, expanding the EKS footprint, and optimizing cloud datastores while enabling self-service CI/CD for engineering teams. You will work with AWS services, IaC, and container orchestration to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure role focused on public cloud environments (AWS required).
• Experience with AWS services: EKS, SageMaker, EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, KMS, RDS, ELB/ALB, MWAA, Identity Center.
• Strong IaC practices: Terraform or OpenTofu infrastructure.
• Experience building templates/packages with Helm.
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and/or ArgoCD.
• Deep EKS and container expertise in multi-tenant Kubernetes production.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu, Python, and Kubernetes on AWS.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science and ML teams to maintain platform infrastructure and developer experience.
• Build, maintain, and abstract internal platform tools, templates, and self-service CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure and operations tasks using scripting languages.
• Operationalize cloud security with IAM, vulnerability remediation, and compliance guardrails.
