Job summary

NextGear Capital, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking an Operations Analyst II to improve performance, productivity, and efficiency across operations through analysis, process improvement, and enablement. This role partners with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable insights.

You will own recurring reports and dashboards, develop scalable reporting solutions in Excel and Power BI, and support training and adoption.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in a related field with 2+ years of related work experience; MS degree with up to 2 years; nondegree with 6+ years.
Prior work experience in auto or financial services industry is preferred but not required.
Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a changing environment.
Excellent customer service, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage enablement, readiness, reporting, and process improvement initiatives across functions.
Own and maintain recurring reporting, scorecards, and dashboards for leadership decisions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into practical solutions.
Build Excel-based reporting with Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, complex formulas, and dashboards.
Analyze trends and performance, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
Identify problems, research, and implement data-driven solutions with minimal direction.
Streamline manual reporting to increase accuracy and scalability.
Synthesize data into concise leadership-ready summaries.
