Job summary

Ryan Specialty Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Business Operations Associate/Analyst to support day-to-day operations across departments. The role collaborates with Operations, Underwriting, Technology, Compliance and Shared Services to coordinate workflows, generate reports, track performance, and drive process improvements.

The candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with data, multiple priorities, and SOP development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong MS Excel with data organization, analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Experience with operational reports, data tracking, workflow management or process coordination.
• Exposure to Power BI and dashboard reporting for operational metrics."
• Experience creating SOPs, workflow docs, training materials, or process maps.

Responsibilities

• Support operational workflows across departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze operational reports and performance metrics using Excel and BI tools.
• Assist with bordereaux reporting, data management, and data validation for operations.
• Track endorsements, binder renewals, technology requests, and workflow performance."
• Create, update, and maintain SOPs, workflow docs and training materials.
• Coordinate onboarding, training and knowledge-sharing across teams.
• Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and special projects as needed.
