Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to own Reservation Product transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to SLAs. You will escalate issues, analyze data, and collaborate with Legal, Security, and Compliance teams.

The role requires a current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and involves using Excel and BI tools to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. Location is on-site in Seattle.

Qualifications

The AWS RI Operations Team is seeking a driven, analytical, and process-oriented individual to own the creation and processing of Reservation Product transaction requests. The role requires a motivated self‑starter who escalates systemic issues, identifies improvement opportunities, meets strict SLAs, works from a ticket queue, and has a passion for accuracy.

This position requires the candidate to currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The candidate must also opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Process and audit Reservation Product transactions such as cancellations, purchases, migrations, and modifications while adhering to Legal, Security, and Compliance requirements.
• Act as an escalation point for Reservation Product requests and issues when necessary.
• Investigate data discrepancies, establish root causes quickly, and propose appropriate solutions.
• Maintain rigorous self‑monitoring to correct errors promptly.
• Communicate effectively across all related channels to ensure transparency of process.
• Retrieve and evaluate data using Excel and other data management/BI systems as required.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience in business analysis and functional roles requiring quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups).
• 1+ year of analytics and/or operations experience.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a queue of requests governed by Service Level Agreements (SLA) and accuracy targets against Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Experience performing data analysis and troubleshooting data integrity issues.
• Proactive, independent work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver on projects and tasks.
• Highly organized with excellent multi‑tasking skills, efficient in ambiguous situations.
