Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a driven professional to own the creation and processing of Reservation Product transaction requests. You will audit cancellations, purchases, migrations, and modifications while adhering to Legal, Security, and Compliance requirements.

Join SMGS to drive revenue and adoption across diverse customers, leveraging data analysis and Excel skills to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate processing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in business analysis and quantitative, analytical and organizational skills, including intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups).
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, charts, and formulas like SUMIF/VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

  • Process and audit Reservation Product transactions (cancellations, purchases, migrations, modifications) per Legal, Security, and Compliance.
  • Occasionally serve as escalation point for Reservation Product requests and issues.
  • Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, propose solutions.
  • Demonstrate vocal self-critique to enable self-correction of errors.
  • Communicate across channels to ensure transparency of process.
  • Retrieve and evaluate data using Excel and other data management/BI tools.

The AWS RI Operations Team is in need of a driven, analytical, and process-oriented individual to own the creation and processing of Reservation Product transaction requests. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who is excited to escal... and has a passion for accuracy.

Key job responsibilities
  • Process and audit Reservation Product transactions such as: cancellations, purchases, migrations, and modifications while adhering to Legal, Security, and Compliance requirements

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience in business analysis and functional roles requiring quantitative, analytical and organizational skills, including intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel including the ability to create pivot tables and charts, develop formulas such as SUMIF, and use VLookup formulas
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with a queue of requests with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and accuracy targets against Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Experience navigating a knowledge base and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Experience performing data analysis and troubleshooting data integrity issues

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
