Job summary

The Ohio State University’s Salmon P. Chase Center for Civics, Culture, and Society seeks an Operations Analyst to support day-to-day operations, oversee financial administration, travel, and course administration, and serve as an administrative resource to faculty.

You will work with the Center’s Operations Manager to implement best practices, manage facilities, and generate regular reports while upholding university policies and the Center's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated poise, professionalism, good judgment, and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Center’s individual spending accounts and budgets, reconcile transactions, and produce monthly reports.
• Manage budgets for student programs and initiatives and ensure compliance with policies.
• Independently manage domestic and international travel for faculty and staff.
• Coordinate purchasing of equipment, supplies, and services and process procurement and payments.
• Assist with course scheduling, enrollment data, and reporting; develop enrollment dashboards.
