WHAT IS CARBON ALL ABOUT?

At Carbon Health, our mission is to make world-class healthcare more accessible to everyone. If you are a creative and innovative thinker looking to revolutionize healthcare in a flexible, collaborative team environment, come and join us to be a part of Carbon Health’s rapid growth plans as we continue to grow, both in size, and what we can offer the world.

THE JOB AT A GLANCE

We’re looking for an analyst who loves working at the intersection of data and business management to play a key role in building tools and delivering insights for our operational leaders

In this role, you’ll build performance management tools to monitor and communicate our financial and operational performance and their underlying influences, perform ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions, and partner with stakeholders to find opportunities and optimizations.

You’ll depend on your abilities to acquire, integrate, transform and work with data from a wide variety of sources, dig for the insights and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role is responsible for ensuring that our business strategies and management decisions have a sound, data-driven foundation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards our leaders use to evaluate the performance of our healthcare clinics

    • Understand and validate the major economic drivers (volume, in-clinic workflows, revenue and key costs like payroll and vendor supply expenses)

    • Design, update and share clear, informative and reliable reports for a wide variety of audiences

    • Collect and incorporate feedback from these internal customers for ongoing updates to reporting

  • Offer fast analytics for business management

    • Translate operational questions into analytical frameworks - turn anecdotes and opinions into provable hypotheses.

    • Collaborate with our Data Science team and other analysts to learn our data

    • Conduct ad hoc analyses to guide leaders’ decisions

    • Identify and share key insights / limitations / assumptions

  • Work flexibly between spreadsheets, SQL databases and Looker

    • Creatively find the fastest and best approach for a specific need

    • Plan ahead for automation of reports

  • Influence results with endless communication

    • Ensure that key insights are heard and understood by the right stakeholders

ABOUT YOU

  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable working with an exclusively English-speaking team. C1 to C2 conversational English is needed for this role.

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.

  • “Full stack” analyst - data acquisition to stakeholder communication.

  • A clever problem solver who can quickly assess quantitative data sets and distill key insights using analytics and statistical methods.

  • Highly proficient with Excel / Google Sheets.

  • Capable with data analytics and visualization platforms such as Tableau, PowerBI or Looker.

  • Proficient in SQL, Python a plus.

  • Ability to work on cross-functional projects and communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels of technical detail.

BENEFITS
  • Medical, dental & vision coverage, effective first day of employment

  • Health Savings Account & Flexible Savings Account option for health care & dependent care

  • Paid time off, paid sick leave

  • 401k retirement savings plans

  • Life & Disability Insurance

  • Phone & WiFi stipends to support remote work
