DataOne is seeking an Operations Analyst in Dallas, TX to coordinate day-to-day functional activities and support profitability reporting. You will work with the Sr.

Manager, Enterprise Operations on reporting, budgeting, and project operations processes, ensuring accuracy and timely insights for leadership. The role requires 2+ years in operations or financial analysis, strong Excel and data visualization skills, and the ability to explain complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in operations, reporting, financial analysis, or project coordination.
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, IF functions) and SharePoint.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or SQL and Workday is a plus.
• Ability to analyze data and clearly explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.

ALWAYS.## Job SummaryThe Operations Analyst is responsible for day-to-day coordination of functional departments in support of DataOne's mission. The Operations Analyst will work with the Sr. Manager, Enterprise Operations to support better management of reporting, profitability analysis, Adaptive Planning, project operations processes, and transactional accuracy.## Functional Responsibilities* Own recurring operational and profitability reporting, including project and contract margin, budget vs. actuals, and open billing installments, and provide analysis and recommendations to leadership.* First line of support for Adaptive Planning, including user questions, data validation, and reconciling plan figures to Workday actuals, engaging Sr. Manager, Enterprise Operations for feedback / assistance as needed.* Monitor, analyze, validate, report and take action on project data in SharePoint and Workday as it relates to open billing installments, budget accuracy, and systematic errors.* Through Workday community research and training with Sr. Manager, Enterprise Operations, become proficient in Workday custom reports, custom fields, BP edits, discovery boards, drive, etc. to streamline reporting, business processes, and increase stakeholder visibility for operations team processes.* Pull cross-functional reports as scenarios require them / for side projects.* Support the project award process through building projects based on presales docs, processing change orders, generating project invoices, and ensuring project data is consistently maintained.* Assist project operations coordinators with related questions, and engage Sr. Manager, Enterprise Operations for feedback / assistance as needed.* Point of contact (Super User) for project operations functions, including but not limited to: + Compliance for contracts/projects based on guidance from accounting and existing dashboards (tax, revenue, etc.) + Customer invoicing and customer purchase order (PO) discrepancies. + Project structure and build approach for large and/or complex deployments. + T&E billing practices and frequencies. + Accuracy of all customer contracts and projects as they relate to the customer purchase orders, scoping docs, and quotes.* Develop and maintain documentation on reporting and project operations procedures and best practices.* Represent the operations team on initiatives that impact cross-functional departments (integration projects, Workday releases, Adaptive Planning changes, new reports, etc.)* Review project-related vendor invoices keyed in by accounting and ensure accurate ledger coding to correct projects before approving.* Develop a deep understanding of the team's full-cycle operations (Travel/Expense, Product, and Procurement) to assist with process efficiencies and new tool implementations.* Identify problems in operations process and resolve them quickly and in a timely manner.* Act as primary liaison for any project manager inquiries as it relates to project budgets (change orders processed and baseline project budget), projects system questions/user errors (Workday), and project build approach.* Verify completed projects are compliant from a project financial standpoint and move them to closed per provided standards, dashboards, and reports.## Experience Required* 2+ years experience in operations, reporting, financial analysis, or project coordination.* Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, IF functions and other Microsoft tools (SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)* Experience with financial databases (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, etc.)* Experience with Adaptive Planning or a similar planning tool, and with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL, is a plus.* Ability to analyze data and clearly explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.* Ability to creatively solve problems.* Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.* Must be able to function independently in a responsive, timely and organized manner.* Must possess well-developed communication and customer relationship skills.* Must be a team-oriented person with the ability to interface with multiple work groups in an effective manner.DataOne IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
