Qualifications

  • High school degree; college/technical certificate preferred.
  • Two years of related experience or training.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve routine problems.
  • Travel required; minimum 10% to facilities and trainings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Supervisors, Managers, sales, regulatory officials, and export customers and act as liaison as needed.
  • Review and reconcile production export packets.
  • Monitor and reconcile COAs.
  • Answer questions and assist in resolutions pertaining to export containers.
  • Process, analyze and distribute various reports.
  • Maintain production databases in Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintain information in Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Collaborate with FSQA Teams and Labs to adjust loading, sampling or testing processes.
  • Spend time in production to understand products and paperwork processes.
  • Organize paperwork.
  • Assist co-workers as needed.

The Tyson Foods, Inc. Ingredient Solutions Group is a global provider of human and animal edible ingredients destined to feed the world. As part of being a global provider of ingredients, meeting the expectations of domestic and international customers and regulatory officials is a must to ensure no disruptions to trade occur.

This position is responsible for ensuring compliance and providing timely and accurate export documents, certificates of authenticity (COAs), and information to appropriate customer and regulatory officials. In this position, one must be able to identify specification problems, inconsistencies, and errors. Maintains clear and efficient communication with export customers, sales, labs, and FSQA. Provides support for all other export program clerical tasks. Additional requirements include: managing sample workflows from multiple production facilities through multiple laboratories, fulfilling customer requests and reviewing reporting results; other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Education: High school degree with preference of one year certificate from college or technical school.
  • Experience: Two years of related experience or training. Knowledge of human and animal by-product processing is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Special Skills: Ability to perform complex work instructions and or operate sophisticated equipment without close supervision; able to work independently and resolve routine problems.
  • Training Programs: The training needs for this job classification will be accessed as needed based on experience and growth of the company.
  • Supervisory: No other management duties are associated with this job classification.
  • Travel: Minimum 10% to facilities, trainings, and as assigned.
