Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a recent accounting/finance graduate for a hands-on training program across operational accounting in the Poultry segment. The nine-month program rotates through Live Production and Plant Accounting, building toward a future role in operations accounting with exposure to closing, reporting, and supervision.

Relocation assistance is available; 1+ travel per year is typical. Pay range reflects base salary plus incentive potential; SAP experience is a plus for the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Recent graduates who completed their degree within the last three years.
• 6+ months’ work experience preferred but not required.
• Microsoft Office applications required; SAP experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently or in a team; good judgment to prioritize and coordinate.

Responsibilities

• Participate in about nine months of hands-on training across operational accounting roles within Poultry segment.
• Gain exposure to Poultry Live Production Accounting and Poultry Plant Accounting.
• Prepare for a future accounting role in operations accounting, including financial closing and reporting, and supervisory duties.
