Veolia North America seeks a Workforce Implementation Specialist to support end-user training, configuration, and data integrity for AMI, GIS, and CityWorks systems in the Idaho region. You will monitor data transfers, develop training materials, and deliver operation-focused reports to drive efficiency.

The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, process standardization, and ongoing system improvements, with field exposure as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Work Management, AMI, SCADA and/or GIS.
• Development in a utility environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Configure WorkForce to support end-users, auditing access, developing training materials, delivering reports, maintaining documentation.
• Support AMI with reporting, training end-users, and issue tracking.
• Assist in implementing new IT systems based on user needs and business requirements.
• Suggest innovative uses of systems to improve workforce efficiency.
• Implement and maintain a training program for system users from analysts to end-users.
• Ensure data quality and validation in OT systems, including corrections and updates.
• Drive consistency and standardization across the Idaho business unit.
• Track and report meaningful departmental metrics.

Job Description

Position Purpose

This position is primarily responsible for workforce implementation support, training, maintenance, functional improvements, system integrations and reporting for Veolia's workforce and AMI software (Sensus Flexnet, CityWorks, GIS etc). The incumbent is responsible for understanding and supporting the implementation of inter and intradepartmental workflows and configuration. Must routinely monitor data transfer from and to core business systems and databases such as Cityworks, Sensus Flexnet, ESRI GIS, CCB, etc.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

• WorkForce configuration to support end-users of the application in areas such as reviewing and auditing user access, developing training materials, training end-users, delivering reports in support of business operations, maintaining online system documentation, researching and correcting moderately complex system errors and tracking system issues and resolutions.
• AMI in coordination with the Corporate AMI team, delivering reports in support of business operations, developing training materials, training end-users, researching and correcting moderately complex system errors and tracking system issues and resolutions.
• Supporting the implementation of new information technology systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
• Providing innovative uses of systems to improve workforce efficiency and optimize the management of information.
• Implementing and maintaining a training program for system users from analysts to end-users.
• Ensuring quality data assurance of data collection, entry, and validation into operational technology systems, including data corrections, updates and validation.
• Driving functional consistency, processes standardization and operational excellence across Idaho business unit.
• Tracking and reporting meaningful departmental metrics.

Work Environment

• This role works primarily indoors, at a desk using electronic devices to perform job tasks.
• There may be occasions where the incumbent will be required to conduct field visits to collect information.
• Field visits may expose the incumbent to uneven terrain in all kinds of weather.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background

• Associates Degree in Engineering / CS / GIS or a related technical discipline.
• Or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, and work experience.
• 3-5 years of Work Management, AMI, SCADA and/or GIS.
• Development in a utility environment (preferred).

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Strong working knowledge of water supply, treatment operations, distribution system operations and maintenance, customer service, and engineering principles as they relate to the water industry (preferred).
• Advanced technical capacity with the ability to quickly learn new and/or proprietary systems, to easily navigate mapping, computer, and phone systems used daily including:
• CityWorks CMMS (preferred).
• Automated Meter Reading Systems (Sensus preferred).
• Smartphones and mobile applications (iPhone preferred).
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to effectively implement change management as it relates to Workforce, Smart metering and other operational technical systems.
• Self-motivated / driven with the ability to follow through on a variety of projects.
• Basic knowledge of asset management applications and technologies.
• Knowledge of existing and emerging technology and data systems and how they interact with each other.

Required Certification/Licenses/Training

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
