Job description

The Operational Support Worker provides general maintenance and transportation services throughout the Agency. Responsibilities include safely transporting consumers to programs and activities, completing minor facility repairs, and maintaining facility and vehicle safety and cleanliness. The role supports agency programs and services by ensuring operational support. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

1. Performing minor maintenance and repairs such as painting, assembling furniture, and moving furniture.
2. Monitoring facilities to ensure the safe operation of heating, ventilation, and cooling systems.
3. Conducting general cleaning services, including trash removal and discarding nonfunctional furniture and items.
4. Providing emergency management and on-call services, such as snow removal, assistance with disabled vehicles, and responding to fire or burglar alarms, no heat, or air conditioning issues.
5. Conducting vehicle safety inspections and supporting vehicle maintenance.
6. Transporting consumers and handling mail runs as needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent with six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing with a safe driving record for over three years.
