Operational Support Worker - South Jersey Behavioral Health

The Operational Support Worker is responsible for general maintenance and transportation services throughout the agency. Duties include:

  • Safely transporting consumers to programs and activities as needed
  • Completing minor facility repairs
  • Maintaining facility and vehicle safety and cleanliness
  • Performing minor repairs such as painting and furniture assembly
  • Monitoring facilities for safe operation of systems like heating and cooling
  • Providing cleaning services and trash removal
  • Supporting emergency management services, including snow removal, vehicle assistance, and alarm responses
  • Conducting vehicle safety inspections
  • Consumer transport and mail runs as required

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent with six months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing with a safe driving record for over three years.
