Lowe's Companies, Inc. in New York is seeking a Receiving Clerk to log all incoming purchase orders, audit paperwork, and help maintain stock for customers. The role uses distribution software and requires lifting up to 70 pounds, with shifts including nights and weekends.
The position involves contacting vendors for packing lists, managing filing systems, and supporting the Receiving team in merchandise flow. Prior warehouse experience is helpful.
Receiving Clerk supports the operation by logging all incoming purchase orders and auditing completed receiving paperwork to ensure accuracy. This role assists inventory to maintain stock for customers and observes incoming/outgoing merchandise for defects and damage. The Receiving Clerk will call vendors for packing lists and freight bills as necessary and maintain a comprehensive filing system for completed receiving packets. The role operates distribution computer systems as required to efficiently control merchandise flow, uses industrial motorized and non‑motorized equipment to unload trailers, transport, select, stock, and load heavy/large merchandise as needed to assist Receiving team as well as perform all other duties as assigned by Coach.
This role does not require regular travel.
