Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Support Specialist to verify shortages and overages in the Receiving department and ensure accurate handling of goods for distribution.
The RSS will receive, process, stock, select, move, and load goods using hand or powered equipment, while identifying issues and escalating them to supervision for resolution. This role requires safety focus and the ability to work independently or with a team in a warehouse environment.
The Receiving Support Specialist (RSS) is a support position for Receiving responsible for verifying any shortages and overages within the department. The RSS is tasked with receiving, processing, stocking, selecting, moving, and loading by hand or powered industrial equipment manufactured goods received by the distribution center in preparation for shipment to Lowe’s retail stores. This position is also responsible for identifying any receiving issues, such as damages or barcode problems, and notifying supervisory personnel for resolution.

Environmental factors vary by location. You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions. Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, is possible. Lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 70 pounds. Team lifts are used minimally starting at 70 pounds or when needed.
