The professional will conduct structured interviews, generate reports, and collaborate with military leadership to inform evidence‑based personnel decisions. A Psy.D.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-approved program or equivalent acceptable by Navy/USG.
• Completion of an APA-approved clinical psychology internship/residency or equivalent psychiatry residency.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the U.S. or territories.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate candidates for special operations assignments.
• Administer, score, and interpret validated psychometric instruments (PAI, NEO-PI-3, MAB-II).
• Develop assessment criteria addressing cognitive abilities, personality traits, and operational readiness.
• Review prescreening questionnaires, background information, and testing results.
• Prepare evaluation reports, risk classifications, and leadership recommendations; participate in candidate evaluation boards.
