Job summary

SPAARK, Inc. seeks an experienced Operational Psychologist to perform specialized psychological assessments and selection support for USCG SMTC at Camp Lejeune, NC.

You will evaluate candidates for DSF assignments, administer psychometric tests, and provide informed recommendations to leadership within a rigorous, gate-secured environment. The role involves handling up to 150 remote screenings per cycle and up to 80 on-site evaluations per class, with strict confidentiality and federal screening

Qualifications

• Requires Psy.D. in clinical/counseling psychology from APA-approved program or equivalent.
• Significant experience conducting assessment and selection evaluations for specialized missions.
• Must complete Rapid Gate and SF-85 federal screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate suitability for military/operational assignments.
• Support remote screening for up to 150 applicants per cycle and on-site assessments for ~80 candidates.
• Administer, score, and interpret validated instruments (PAI, NEO-PI-3, MAB-II).
• Develop criteria addressing cognitive abilities, personality, behavior and readiness.
• Prepare evaluation reports and risk classifications for leadership reviews.
• Participate in candidate evaluation boards and provide recommendations.
• Maintain confidential records and ensure informed consent procedures.
