Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking an Operational Psychologist to support national security missions through behavioral science in irregular warfare contexts. You will apply advanced psychology to inform operational planning, advisement, and training across joint forces and partners, delivering actionable, decision-ready insights.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI Poly, a relevant advanced degree, and several years of experience in military operations or assessments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly required.
• MA/MS in behavioral sciences, neurosciences, psychology, or related field required.
• 5 years’ military operational planning experience (7 years if BA/BS) for OIE/IW/Sensitive Activities.
• Experience briefing or delivering concepts to executive decision makers.
• Experience applying behavioral models, scientific theory, and data analysis to military operations.

Responsibilities

• Supports OIE, IW, and Sensitive activities by applying behavioral science to influence targets.
• Advises on target audience analysis, themes, messages, vulnerabilities, decision-making, and assessment criteria.
• Develops measures of effectiveness to assess impact on targets and audiences.
• Facilitates intelligence requirements to identify enemy capabilities and intent.
• Performs behavioral assessment of targets using empirical orientations.
• Develops actor-specific behavioral models using digital phenotyping, neuroscience, or cyberpsychology.
• Maintains current psychological research to ensure scientific rigor in tactics and procedures.
• Maintains ethical standards in practice.
• Integrates intelligence, assessment, and feedback to refine OIE approaches.
• Supports OIE exercises, experiments, and wargaming to test assumptions.
• Produces planning products, assessments, and briefs incorporating operational psychology insights.
