Job summary

LMR Technical Group is seeking an Operational Psychologist to optimize human performance for the U.S. Air Force.

The position supports the 435th Air Ground Operations Wing in resilience, cognitive performance, leadership consultation, and personnel assessment, with a strong emphasis on operational psychology. Location listed as Vilseck, Germany, with duties largely in operational support (about 90%) and some clinical intervention.

Qualifications

• APA-accredited doctoral degree and internship or residency completed.
• Active, unrestricted psychology license.
• Experience in DoD or federal behavioral health settings.
• Current TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain.
• Eligibility to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to Wing and Group leadership.
• Support organizational effectiveness and team performance.
• Design and execute personnel assessment and selection programs.
• Deliver resilience, cognitive performance, and leadership training.
• Conduct executive coaching and performance consultations.
• Support critical incident response and post-mission activities.
• Provide limited clinical intervention as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education

PhD/PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (APA-accredited)

APA-accredited internship or residency

Active, unrestricted psychology license

DoD/Federal behavioral health experience

TS/SCI security clearance

Installation access & credentialing

US work authorization (no sponsorship)
