Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC in Euclid, OH seeks an experienced Operational Leader to serve as Front Line Product Leader for the Centerline area, coordinating machinists, schedulers, and Operations.

This role requires 5+ years in machining/manufacturing, proficiency in Gibbs CAM, M&G code, and EPICOR ERP, plus strong communication and safety leadership.

You will guide daily workflow, training, and process improvements to meet production goals while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

The Bearings, Seals, & Hydraulics Division in Euclid is seeking an experienced Operational Leader. This position will work as a “Front Line Product Leader” for the Centerline area to serve as a liaison between all the Machinists, scheduling, and Operations. They will influence process and planning decisions with knowledge and explanations of manufacturing process.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Shop Floor Supervisor to teaching/coaching Machinists & Programmers.
• Promotes and reinforces daily Safety/Quality.
• Teaching/Coaching/Training Machinistas & Programmers.
• Managing Daily Workflow.
• Supporting/Assessing needs for Job Preparation.
• Coordinates Machine Maintenance Equipment.
• Coordinates work schedules of primary team, to include time off and overtime.
• Interfaces/Maintains outsourced shop support (Nitride, EDM, Grind, other).
• Coordinates/Supports Shipping Schedules based on monthly production schedule.
• Assists/provides feedback on development Shop Schedule and Quoting to the Manufacturing Manager.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of related experience in a machining or manufacturing environment or combination of education andexperience.
• Experience with machining, programming (M&G code), and CAM software (Gibbs); high-temperature alloy experience a plus.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and members of the business community. Ability to professionally communicate (verbal & written) with all members of the workforce.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts for elements of supervisory oversight to machinists and assist in planning/tracking of core goals to the manufacturing manager.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, including interpreting a wide variety of information and data and dealing with variables.
• Time & project management regarding workflow/scheduling through business objectives.
• Knowledge of MS Office packages; e-mail; presentations; flow charts, etc. ERP System (EPICOR) & Project Management skills desired.
• Prioritizes safety and ensures all EHS procedures align with company values.
• Promotes and fosters a team environment.

• In addition, the candidate must occasionally work in an environment that contains toxic or caustic chemicals and may be exposed to a loud industrial setting.
