Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services is seeking an Operational Language Analyst – Chinese to support U.S. Federal agencies in Annapolis Junction, MD. The analyst will process language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.

Qualified candidates will have at least 10 years in Cryptologic Operations with an active TS/SCI clearance. The salary range for this position is between $170,000 and $185,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare and financial support.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have ILR skill level 2 in translation from Chinese into American English.
• 10 years experience in Cryptologic Operations performing language processing.
• Minimum of 3 years focused on translating, transcribing, and gisting.

Responsibilities

• Recover essential elements of information.
• Render translations and/or transcripts from straightforward material.
• Produce gists of straightforward written and/or spoken material.

Skills

Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph

Operational Language Analyst – Chinese, level 3 – Defense and Homeland Security Division, Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, the analyst processes voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.

Responsibilities

• Render translations and/or transcripts based on straightforward, factual written and/or spoken material
• Produce gists of straightforward written and/or spoken material

Required Education & Experience

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
• High school diploma or equivalent
• ILR skill level 2 in audio and/or text translation from Chinese into idiomatic, standard American English (or 2 in listening and/or reading on the DLPT)
• Equivalent of ten (10) years full‑time experience in Cryptologic Operations performing language processing in Chinese
• For at least three (3) of the six (6) years, translating and/or transcribing, and gisting shall be the primary duty

Pay Range

The proposed salary range for this position is $170,000.00 - $185,000.00, with additional factors such as geographic location, contract categories, experience, skills, and certifications influencing final compensation.
