The salary range for this position is between $170,000 and $185,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, retirement, and educational support.

Operational Language Analyst – Russian, Level 3

This role is part of our Defense and Homeland Security Division in Annapolis Junction, MD. The Operational Language Analyst performs tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.

Responsibilities

• Translating and/or transcribing complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material
• Gisting complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material
• Recovering essential elements of information
• Rendering translations and/or transcripts based on straightforward, factual written and/or spoken material
• Gisting straightforward written and/or spoken material

Required Education and Experience

• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 2 in audio translation and/or text translation from the required language into idiomatic, standard American English or 2 in listening and/or reading on the DLPT
• Equivalent of ten (10) years full-time experience in Cryptologic Operations performing language processing in the required language(s)
• For at least three (3) of the six (6) years’ experience, translating and/or transcribing, and gisting shall be the primary duty

Salary

$170,000.00 – $185,000.00
