Job summary

A veteran-owned technology firm is seeking an Operational Language Analyst 3 to support SIGINT operations through language processing. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience, including crypto language processing, and proficiency in multiple languages. This position offers a salary range of $160,000 to $190,000, with a strong benefits package including 100% company-paid health benefits and 401K matching.

Overview

Join to apply for the Operational Language Analyst 3 role at BTS. Location: Hanover, Maryland. Primary Location: Fort Meade, Maryland. Secondary Locations: Dayton, OH; Wahiawa, HI; Bluffdale, UT. Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly.

Responsibilities

• Support operations in SIGINT by processing voice and/or graphic language materials.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 10 years of full-time experience
• ILR skill level 3 in audio translation and/or text translation from the required language into idiomatic, standard American English or 3 in listening and/or reading on the DLPT
• 10 years in crypto language processing, related language, and/or crypto experience
• Related Language Experience: (In target language) oral translations, non-crypto audio/graphic translations, doc exploitation, formal teaching
• Crypto Experience: target development, network analysis, drafting intel reports, speaker/language identification

• 6 of the 10 years in crypto language processing must include QC’ing and mentoring
• 6 of the 10 years has to be in the required language(s)
• IF CANDIDATE HAS WORKED WITH MULTIPLE LANGUAGES
• 4 of the 6 years has to be in performing crypto language processing
• 3 of the 6 years has to be in simply translating, transcribing, and gisting
• 1 year experience QC’ing at ILR level 3 in target language
• No more than 3 of the 10 years in reporting as primary duty
• 1 of the 6 years in target language has to be within 6 years of resume submission

Education And Experience

Mid/Senior positions require a bachelor's degree or an additional four years of experience.

Pay

Pay Range: $160,000 to $190,000 full salary range lowest to highest across locations. Pay ranges are a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Offers consider factors such as role responsibilities, education, experience, and competencies.
