Job summary

LIS Solutions in Fort Meade, Maryland is seeking a cryptologic language analyst to support National Security Objectives. The role includes researching, translating, and analyzing foreign intelligence, utilizing foreign language skills and cryptologic analysis. Candidates must be US citizens holding an active TS/SCI with Poly and possess 10 years of experience or a degree with additional experience. Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with an active TS/SCI with Poly.
• 10 years full-time experience or 14 without a degree.
• ILR Skill Level 3 in Audio or Graphic.
• 3 of 6 years in simply translating, transcribing, and gisting.
• 1 year experience QC’ing at ILR level 3 in target language.

Position Description

You will support National Security Objectives where you’ll get to use your foreign language skills to research, translate/transcribe/gist, report, and analyze foreign intelligence. Utilize your abilities in cryptologic language analysis to process audio and/or graphic materials to provide key target insight to decision makers in support of SIGINT operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with an active TS/SCI with Poly.
• 10 yrs full-time experience or 14 without degree
• Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional yrs of work experience.
• ILR Skill Level 3 in Audio or Graphic
• 10 yrs in crypto language processing, related language, and/or crypto experience - QC'ing, mentoring, and demonstrating all crypto skills mentioned below.
  • 6 of 10 yrs in crypto language processing (see below)
• 6 of 10 yrs in has to be in the required language(s)
  • 4 of 6 yrs performing crypto language processing
  • 3 of 6 yrs simply translating, transcribing, and gisting
  • 1 yr experience QC’ing at ILR level 3 in target language
• No more than 3 of 10 yrs reporting as primary duty
• 1 of 6 yrs in target language has to be within 6 yrs of resume submission.

Crypto experience includes scanning, recovering EEIs, gisting, translating/transcribing, compiling working aids and databases.
