Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking an Operational Language Analyst 2 to support SIGINT operations in Hanover, Maryland, with primary location at Fort Meade, MD. The role requires processing voice and graphic language materials and cryptolinguistic tasks for national security programs.

Minimum requirements include 4 years of full-time experience, ILR 3 in translation or DLPT 3, and a TS/SCI with Poly clearance. Entry-level education can be an associate's degree or additional related experience.

Qualifications

• ILR level 3 in translation from required languages into idiomatic American English or 3 in DLPT listening/reading
• 4 years performing crypto language processing - scanning, recovering EEIs, gisting, translating/transcribing, compiling working aids, report drafting and databases.
• 2 years of primary duty conducting translation, transcriptions, and gisting.

BTS Software Solutions is seeking an Operational Language Analyst 2 to support operations in Hanover, Maryland.

The Operational Language Analyst will perform tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.

Primary Location:

Fort Meade, MD

Secondary Locations:

Wahiawa, HI

Clearance Requirement:

TS/SCI with Poly

Desired Languages:

• Chinese-Mandarin
• Spanish
• Kanuri
• Russian

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 4 years of full-time experience
• Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and/or text translation from the required language into idiomatic, standard American English or 3 in listening and/or reading on the DLPT
• 4 years performing crypto language processing - scanning, recovering EEIs, gisting, translating/transcribing, compiling working aids, report drafting and databases.
• 2 years of primary duty conducting translation, transcriptions, and gisting.
• No more than 1 year of reporting as primary duty
• 2 of 4 years of experience has to be within 4 years of resume submission

Education and Experience:

Entry level positions require an associate's degree or an additional two years of experience.

Pay ranges are required for Maryland, Colorado and Hawaii

Pay Range: $128,000 to $155,000 full Salary range lowest to highest across locations
