Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Data Scientist in Orlando, FL to design, deploy, and scale operational forecasting models using production-grade Python. The role emphasizes delivering reliable forecasts integrated into operators' workflows and solving real-world problems with time-series forecasting, causal modeling, and ML.

You will work with SQL, Python, R, Azure ML, Power BI, and Tableau to analyze large datasets, evaluate models, and communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of applied experience designing, developing, and deploying analytical models.
• Experience with operational forecasting in real-world production environments.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, Azure ML, Power BI, and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and improve operational forecasting models at scale.
• Build production-quality Python solutions that are maintainable and testable.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities to improve forecast performance.
• Apply time-series forecasting, causal modeling, ML, and optimization to operational problems.
• Evaluate model performance and conduct error analysis to improve accuracy and reliability.
• Translate forecasting outputs into actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure forecasts are practical and trusted.
