Job summary

JCB is seeking an Operational Excellence Trainer/Mentor to implement the Production System across leadership levels in San Antonio, TX. You will design, promote, coach and deliver OE workshops in both classroom and shop floor settings, driving continuous improvement and quality.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing and strong training, communication, and coaching skills, with hands-on knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and standard work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or industrial environment.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience performing production tasks at or above established quality and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Aid in design and creation of workshops aligned with Operational Excellence & the JCB Production System.
• Prepare, plan and organise workshops.
• Lead and deliver Operational Excellence workshops to all leadership levels.
• Develop OE expertise by supporting divisional leadership to apply JCB Production System principles and tools.
• Train and support Continuous Improvement events within the Business unit.
• Act as mentor, coach, leader, champion and practitioner of OE & JCB Production System principles.
• Prioritise safety and quality in executing duties and communicate OE standards.
• Continuously improve skills and knowledge in OE tools and standards.
• Coach other team members and maintain workplace standards.
• Monitor and measure all activities as part of continuous improvement.
