Job summary

JCB, Inc. is seeking a Quality Systems Coordinator to oversee the planning, execution, operation and maintenance of quality procedures at the North America manufacturing facility in San Antonio, TX.

The role drives opportunities for product and process improvements with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and continuous quality. The ideal candidate will lead ISO 9001 initiatives, manage quality programs for manufacturing, and train teams on proper procedures while maintaining compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar.
• 2+ years of weld fabrication experience.
• 5S lean manufacturing and six sigma certified.
• Must pass drug screens, background checks, and pre-employment tests.

Responsibilities

• Establish quality standards that address all products produced in the manufacturing processes.
• Lead the ISO 9001 management system for manufacturing.
• Manage product quality programs / projects for manufacturing.
• Create, set up and audit manufacturing processes and changes to ensure conformance with process control procedures, quality standards and engineering specifications.
• Monitor quality, productivity and performance.
• Provide training to ensure that proper procedures are followed.
• Ensure system conform to applicable ISO 9000 standards for welding and fabrication.
