Job summary

CVS Health in New York state is seeking a Process Engineer to support safety, quality and delivery improvements on the shop floor. You will apply Lean principles, collect data, and assist with CI events to drive performance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operational environment.
• Working knowledge of Lean principles, 5S, and basic problem-solving tools.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain mgmt. or related technical field preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel; exposure to Power BI, SQL, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Supports identification of operational bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and safety risks.
• Performs data analysis and root cause problem solving to support improvement opportunities.
• Assists with implementation of safety, quality, and delivery improvements at the site level.
• Applies Lean and CI tools (time studies, labor standards support, slotting analysis, layout reviews, 5S) to improve workflows.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets operational data to support improvement initiatives.
• Supports CI events (Kaizen, value stream mapping) and follows standard methodologies as directed.
• Supports multiple improvement projects by managing assigned tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
