Job summary

Agilent Technologies seeks a senior production leader to develop and sustain the manufacturing system for therapeutic oligonucleotides, spanning fermentation to downstream release.

You will drive diagnostics, tiered daily management, kaizen events, and strategy deployment, leveraging MES for real-time monitoring and root-cause analysis to deliver improvements within GMP settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in life sciences, chemical, or biochemical engineering.
• 10+ years in GMP manufacturing with at least 8 years of lean process accountability.
• Proven experience deploying operational systems like Lean, DBS, or Toyota Production System.
• Strong track record of delivering operational results through transformation.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include conducting rapid diagnostics, establishing tiered daily management, leading kaizen events to improve process yields and cycle times, and translating site objectives into floor-level priorities via strategy deployment. The role involves leveraging MES and data systems for real-time performance monitoring, driving root-cause analysis, supporting tech transfer and new product introduction, and coaching operations teams in lean methodologies. The focus is on delivering measurable improvements in throughput, quality, and cycle times within GMP-regulated environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's in life sciences, chemical, or biochemical engineering


• 10+ years in GMP manufacturing with at least 8 years of lean process accountability


• Proven experience deploying operational systems like Lean, DBS, or Toyota Production System


• Strong track record of delivering operational results through transformation

Work setup
