Job summary

fairlife, LLC seeks a Manager of Continuous Improvement to lead Lean/Operational Excellence across our sites, driving safety, quality and productivity while improving financial performance. You will train, coach and mentor teams, implement Lean tools, set metrics, and shape a culture of ongoing improvement through personal leadership and collaboration.

This on-site role is based in Coopersville, MI, with 10–25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 5-10 years of proven project management and process improvement skills including root cause analysis, Lean and Six Sigma.
• Experience in process improvement implementation.
• Proven ability in strategy development, planning, and budgeting.
• Proficient in MS Office products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Proficient in basic data analysis with PowerBI, Tableau, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Drive the implementation of the Operational Excellence framework and roadmap across fairlife to achieve measurable performance improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to implement lean tools and principles within the framework; train employees on Opex and Lean.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship for employees on Lean/CI/OPEX.
• Manage and lead local CI team with coaching and support for initiatives.
• Foster professional growth through development plans and performance feedback.
• Drive cultural change to sustain a continuous improvement environment.
• Define and track metrics, identify gaps and propose solutions.
• Plan and assist in executing Kaizen events delivering process improvements.
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders to facilitate decisions.
• Manage focus improvement initiatives from selection to completion.
• Develop CI roadmaps aligning with goals and objectives; track ROI with finance.
