Job summary

Select Milk Producers seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead and coordinate CI initiatives across the plant, driving efficiency, waste reduction, quality improvements and performance gains. You will coach PITs and PDCA teams, working hands-on with frontline staff to embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Prerequisites include 3+ years in operations or process improvement, a related Bachelor’s degree, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or process improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• CI expertise or willingness to learn CI methodologies and tools.
• Financial acumen to understand and improve financial performance.
• Leadership and coaching to drive change and develop others.
• Hands-on approach working with frontline staff to implement changes.
• Project management experience leading CI projects with measurable results.
• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite continuous improvement efforts aligned with operational and financial goals.
• Develop and sustain CI initiatives to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Finance and others to implement improvements.
• Analyze data and assess financial impacts to guide decisions.
• Mentor frontline employees and supervisors in CI methodologies.
• Lead multiple PITs and PDCA teams across focus areas.
• Manage CI projects from concept to completion with timely execution.
• Apply root cause analysis and process mapping to solve issues.
