Job summary

Select Milk Producers in Littlefield, TX is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead initiatives that boost efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality across the facility.

You will coach PITs and PDCA teams, partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Finance, and drive measurable improvements through data-driven analysis and project management. A hands-on leader who can mentor frontline staff and manage multiple projects simultaneously is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or process improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations management, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CI methodologies and tools or willingness to learn them.

Responsibilities

• CI Program Leadership: lead onsite continuous improvement efforts aligned with goals.
• Strategic Execution: develop and sustain CI initiatives to drive efficiency and financial performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Finance and others.
• Performance Analytics: analyze data and assess financial impact of improvements.
• Training & Development: mentor frontline staff and supervisors in CI practices.
• Lead PITs and PDCA teams to attack improvement opportunities across the facility.
• Plan, Do, Check, Act: manage PDCA activities to ensure timely execution.
• Project Management: oversee CI projects from concept to completion.
• Problem-solving: use root cause analysis and process mapping to implement solutions.
• KPI Management: establish and track KPIs for CI initiatives.
• Change Management: promote a culture of continuous improvement.
