AltaGas is seeking a Specialist, Operational Excellence to lead Lean Six Sigma Green Belt initiatives and coordinate a broad portfolio of improvement projects. You will coach participants, develop a community of practice, and drive governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required; Black Belt considered an asset.
• 5+ years of experience leading operational excellence, continuous improvement, transformation, or process improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing programs, portfolios, governance processes, and cross-functional projects.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, including presenting to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve our Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Program, coaching participants and leaders.
• Build and sustain a Continuous Improvement Community of Practice through events, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate Operational Excellence initiatives from intake through execution, aligning projects to priorities and delivering value.
• Facilitate workshops, process improvement events, and problem-solving sessions with benefits realization.
• Develop executive-ready reporting, dashboards, and presentations showing program performance and impact.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to strengthen governance and standardize practices.
