Job summary

CertainTeed Saint-Gobain is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to drive measurable manufacturing improvements by leading loss identification, coaching pillar leaders, and ensuring sustainable business impact. You will champion cultural change, align improvement efforts with corporate strategies, and oversee deployment plans.

The role requires strong facilitation of steering committees, strong RCA/Kaizen leadership, and accountability to KPIs across safety, quality, delivery and cost.

Qualifications

• Associates/Technical degree in Engineering, Operations or related field, required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field, preferred.
• Six Sigma/Lean Green Belt, preferred.
• Certified Manufacturing Engineer, preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment, required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Steering Committees to align safety, quality, delivery, cost and people site priorities, review progress, and ensure accountability to KPIs.
• Own and maintain the Deployment Plan and Roadmap, integrating pillar activities with the plant’s strategic objectives and drive overall project execution.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Kaizen events, and problem-solving workshops to eliminate chronic losses.
