Job summary

MAHLE Thermal and Filter Systems US is seeking an Operational Excellence (OPEX) Intern to support continuous improvement across production processes. You will help analyze data, run cycle time studies, and contribute to lean initiatives that reduce waste and improve productivity.

You will participate in kaizen events, assist PFEP development, and help optimize material flows between the inbound warehouse, subassemblies, lines and outbound logistics.

Qualifications

• Proactive, analytical, and project-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Interest in manufacturing operations, lean principles, and process improvement.
• Advanced communication skills and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle time studies to identify bottlenecks and support line balancing.
• Participate in kaizen events and continuous improvement projects.
• Assist PFEP development and inventory optimization.
• Design and optimize internal material delivery routes between inbound/outbound logistics.
