Job summary

Hendrick Technical Solutions in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking a self-starting undergraduate to join the Operational Excellence team to support continuous improvement and change management efforts. You will work on cross-functional projects across manufacturing and vehicle production, analyze processes, propose improvements, and help build world-class internal procedures aligned with ISO 9001:2015.

Strong analytical and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Lean Six Sigma coursework preferred.
Strong record of team, project and/or people leadership in work or extracurriculars.
Demonstrated academic achievement with GPA minimum 2.8.

Responsibilities

Participate in cross-functional project teams within manufacturing, vehicle production and supporting operations.
Make improvement recommendations to management based on observation and analysis.
Assist in creating world-class internal processes per ISO 9001:2015.
Interface daily with team members at varying levels to align processes and systems.
Perform quality inspections to ensure production quality meets customer standards.
Develop and manage key metrics for measuring performance to standard.
Apply analytical skills to acquire and analyze data from multiple systems and data sources.
