Job summary

Lightcast is seeking a Technical Operations Business Analyst to bridge Technical Operations and Finance by translating operational data into actionable insights. You will build dashboards, analyses, and clear reporting for technical and financial stakeholders as an individual contributor reporting to the SVP of Application Development, with exposure to budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field of study.
• 1–3 years of experience in technical operations, business operations, data analytics, finance, or related area.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing business needs.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders across technical and financial teams.
• SQL knowledge and vendor management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Technical Operations and Finance to align priorities and data.
• Work with data teams to understand data collection and support reporting.
• Create dashboards and analyses that turn operational data into insights for leadership.
• Prepare clear reporting translating technical activity into financial metrics.
• Support vendor management and contract activities, including renewals and negotiations.
• Collaborate with Finance to improve visibility into tech spending and budgeting.
