Job summary

Proven Recruiting in Dallas seeks an operational internal audit leader to run audits across a large asset-heavy business. You will manage a team, own the audit plan, and bring real fieldwork to life by testing how the business actually operates.

The role requires 12+ years of experience, a professional certification, a bachelor’s in accounting/finance, and hands-on ERP auditing. This hybrid position offers a thoughtful leadership environment, relocation assistance, and a strong compensation

Qualifications

12+ years of related experience, including management.
Professional certification is required.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
Hands-on experience auditing operational processes.
Experience working in a large ERP environment.
Strong communicator who can build trust with the team.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute operational audits across the organization's business and operating processes.
Manage, coach, and develop a team of auditors, including goal setting, performance reviews, and professional growth.
Lead the full-cycle audit process from start to finish.
Partner with audit leadership on the annual business process audit plan and the direction of the function.
Build practical operational knowledge of the business so risk assessments and recommendations hold up with operating leadership.
Travel to operating and plant environments.
