Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President in Cybersecurity Operational Risk Management to act as a senior risk partner, providing independent oversight and advisory support to the firm’s cybersecurity organization.

You will evaluate risks, influence risk decisions, and strengthen the risk framework across domains including cryptography and AI governance. You will collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, technology, and business leaders to ensure effective risk management and to evolve

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity disciplines such as engineering, architecture, or operations.
• Experience operating in a First Line of Defense cybersecurity or technology security function.
• Experience designing or overseeing SDLC and Secure by Design programs in complex enterprises.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity risk management, controls, and governance in regulated financial services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Second Line of Defense partner to Cybersecurity leadership, providing risk oversight and advisory input.
• Assess SDLC design, implementation and effectiveness across technology and engineering functions.
• Evaluate cybersecurity risks and control effectiveness across technology environments and identify remediation gaps.
• Provide oversight on cryptographic strategy including key management, authentication controls and post-quantum risks.
• Assess risks related to deployment and governance of advanced AI technologies and related controls.
