Job summary

Railbookers Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to oversee the accounting operations supporting AP and Reservations Accounting, including AR. The role involves hands-on work with reconciliations, reporting, and process improvements while leading a team.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, GAAP expertise, and strong Excel and NetSuite skills, with excellent analytical and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable and close processes.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting skills.
• Experience leading accounting staff and ensuring policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff responsible for AP/AR.
• Assist month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Prepare financial analyses to support business decisions.
• Identify improvements to accounting workflows and internal controls.
