Job summary

RailWorks is seeking an Assistant VP & Controller to lead financial operations across corporate accounting and field sites. You will supervise staff, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive the full project lifecycle from bids to completion.

The role requires strong budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities, with experience in joint ventures and cross-border finance. This remote-friendly leadership position offers a competitive package and opportunities across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required; CPA is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years senior-level finance or accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Acts as financial liaison between corporate accounting and field operations.
• Manages staff and processes for Major Projects finance and shared services hub.
• Oversees end-to-end accounting from bids to project completion.
