Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Senior Production Support Engineer focused on monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining live video streaming and OTT platforms in a 24/7 environment.

You will respond to production alerts, analyze logs and metrics, join incident calls with customers and engineering teams, and perform production changes. On-call rotation nights/weekends when required, collaborating with SRE and Media Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Senior production support experience with live video/OTT platforms.
• Strong knowledge of streaming protocols, cloud infrastructure, and incident management.

Job description

• Monitor live video streams and streaming platforms.
• Investigate issues like buffering, video not playing, stream outages, ad failures, or DRM errors.
• Fix production issues quickly when customers are impacted.
• Work with engineering teams to identify root causes and prevent future issues.
