Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support Nursing Med Surg: Operating Room. You will prepare and stock sterile instruments, assist with maintaining aseptic technique, and support the OR team under RN supervision.

The role requires graduation from a Surgical Technology program or accredited nursing school, and BCLS certification. Night shifts, weekends, and holidays may apply; no on-call required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program or accredited nursing school.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures quality patient care, safety, and advocacy under RN supervision.
• Maintains instruments, equipment and supplies in sterile condition.
• Communicates effectively with the team and patients.
• Takes responsibility for performance and professional growth.
• Controls instrument inventory and costs.
