Live Well Homecare is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a full-time, day shift in the surgical department in Mount Vernon, Illinois. The role involves assisting in patient care activities and supporting procedures under RN supervision.

The candidate will prepare the OR, manage instruments, supplies, and equipment, and communicate patient information effectively with the team. BLS certification and OR experience or nursing credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited surgical tech program or nursing education/license.
• Prior OR experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, stand, and walk for long periods a must.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Operating Room for procedures and maintain sterile field.
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment used during surgery.
• Communicate patient information clearly with the team and supervisor.
