Job summary

Munson Healthcare is hiring for a full-time transporter role in northern Michigan. The position involves safely transporting surgical patients to and from the operating room, assisting with positioning and prepping, and supporting anesthesia equipment in the OR and PACU.

You will contribute to a clean, safe operating environment and patient care team. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and BCLS certification, with training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BCLS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport surgical patients to and from the operating room.
• Clean the OR suites and equipment.
• Assist with positioning and prepping patients.
• Supply anesthesia equipment and non-narcotic drugs to the OR suites and Maternity.
• Maintain anesthesia equipment for patient care within the surgical suite and PACU.
• Stock non-controlled medications in multiple locations in the OR as requested.
• Deliver non-controlled medications to the OR Suite/Pre-Op Holding as requested.
