Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking team-oriented individuals to support surgical services in Traverse City. You will transport surgical patients to the operating room, assist with positioning and prep, and ensure OR suites and equipment are clean and ready for procedures.

Responsibilities include stocking medications, supporting anesthesia equipment, and delivering medications to the OR suite as needed. A High School Diploma and BCLS are required, with training provided for those not yet certified.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport surgical patients to and from the operating room.
• Clean the OR Suites and equipment.
• Assist with positioning and prepping patients.
• Supply anesthesia equipment and non-narcotic drugs to the OR Suites and Maternity.
• Maintain anesthesia equipment needed for patient care within the surgical suite and Pre-Anesthesia Care Area.
• Stock non-controlled medications in multiple locations in the OR at the request of licensed personnel.
• Deliver non-controlled medications to the OR Suite/Pre-Op Holding at the request of licensed personnel.
